Gemini II Milestone I Complete
Thanks to everyone in our community, we’ve reached the first milestone of Gemini II with over 27k community-run nodes at the highest peak on telemetry! If you haven’t yet, you still have a chance to join Gemini II as a farmer and earn a portion of the reward. For information about setting up a farmer node and the configuration requirements, please refer to the following resources:

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, the Subspace Network community reached the first milestone of 25k nodes for the Gemini II Incentivized Testnet with all required conditions met.
✅ 25k+ qualified reward addresses
✅ 750+ TB of space pledged
✅ 20k+ concurrent active nodes
And soon after, we crossed 1 PB of total space pledged, getting us one step closer to Milestone 2!
✅ 50k+ qualified unique reward addresses

Additional Reward for Gemini II Farmers
To show our appreciation for the amazing momentum we’re seeing since the launch of Gemini II, we’ve decided to double the reward allocation from 0.5% up to 1% for our farmers.
For the farmers who are helping us test the network by keeping their farmer nodes consistently online, the additional 0.5% will be distributed proportionally to the amount of tSSC farmed, similar to the Gemini I model. Farmers must have a minimum balance of 3 tSSC to be eligible to receive rewards from the new allocation. So keep your nodes up and running!
Gemini II Rewards Update: up to 1% of the total token supply allocated
- Up to 0.5% will be distributed equally to reward addresses with at least 0.5 tSSC, based on the milestones reached
- 0.5% will be distributed (proportionally to the amount of tSSC farmed) to reward addresses with at least 3 tSSC (Gemini II balance only)

Ambassador Program
We are now accepting applications for the next cohort of Ambassadors!
Subspace is a permissionless network created with the vision of our community governing and taking ownership of our ecosystem in the long term. Our Ambassador Program, for one, will help us accelerate the process of realizing a community-led ecosystem. Over time we will build a widely distributed community with many self-organized clusters all over the world.

The deadline to apply is October 20, 2022. We will review applications and schedule interviews on a rolling basis.
