As we approach the Parachain Auction reward distribution and Mainnet bootstrap, we are delighted to announce that the staking functionality is fully integrated and users can start staking their CLV to validators to participate in decentralizing and maintaining the Clover network from Jan 14th 2022.
Clover Ivy network uses NPOS (Nominated Proof-of-Stake) as its consensus mechanism which is the same as Polkadot uses. CLV users can participate in the consensus as Nominators. Nominators may support validator candidates by collatoring their CLV tokens and receive staking rewards. Staking rewards rate is estimated to be at the same level as DOT staking on Polkadot.
