The Clover Finance team will be airdropping $SKU to the following eligible users:

Coinlist Rd. 3 Participants, Users who participated in the previous Sakura crowdloan, and the Pre-crowdloan Campaign participants will receive SKU airdrops by Sept. 8th, 2021.

Note, users who have participated in the other coinlist rounds will also receive the SKU airdrop after they start to receive their CLV tokens.

Clover mobile users from both the iOS and Android apps will receive a SKU airdrop by Sept. 10th, 2021. Please note, to be eligible for this airdrop, a user has to be active on the mobile wallet app for at least 7 days. This airdrop eligibility is still open until Sept. 9th, 2021–8am UTC. After this all users who have been active on the app for at least 7 days or longer since launch date will receive the airdrops on Sept. 10th.

Sakura Crowdloan is LIVE

Sakura will be participating in the upcoming Kusama parachain auctions. The crowdloan is officially open and live for Sakura Finance (Parathread 2016).

The current status of the crowdloan can be seen directly on polkadotjs.

Sakura auction details:

There will be at least 150 SKU per KSM for crowdloan contributors, and up to a maximum of 210 SKU per KSM depending on the result of the crowdloan.
There will also be a 5% extra bonus for the first 1,000 participants of the crowdloan if Sakura secures a parachain slot.
Sakura has set their maximum cap raise amount to 100,000 KSM. After this mark has been met, no more KSM bids will be eligible.
There is a minimum bid amount of 0.1 KSM per contribution
Sakura will be bidding for a maximum of 8 lease periods, which means a 48 week parachain slot auction bid.

How to participate

To participate users can enter directly through the Sakura crowdloan webpage or on the official polkadotjs web app with Clover or Polkadotjs extension wallets. Users can also utilize the Fearless wallet to participate in the crowdloan on mobile. Please make sure to have KSM on either wallet to be able to contribute to the crowdloan.

Please note: Sakura Finance will NOT be accepting any KSM on the crowdloan website. The portal will allow users to directly interact with the Kusama crowdloan module to contribute. Both methods described below are completely decentralized.

Polkadotjs web app

After downloading an eligible Kusama wallet and having KSM, proceed to the polkadotjs web app and make sure you are connected to the Kusama network.

2. Scroll over Network, and click on Parachains

3. Click on Crowdloan

4. All active crowdloans will now be displayed. Find the Sakura crowdloan as shown below, and click on “Contribute” to place a bid.

5. Select the account to contribute from, the amount, and click on Contribute again.

6. Confirm, sign and submit the transaction to participate in the Sakura crowdloan!

Fearless Wallet

Download the Fearless wallet directly from their website. The fearless wallet allows users to directly buy KSM from their new account. After having KSM on the account, click on the Crowdloans tab and scroll to find Sakura. Follow the steps to contribute KSM directly.

After having KSM in Clover wallet or Polkadotjs wallet, please proceed to Sakura auction website and connect the KSM wallet.

2. Proceed to “Stake Now” and enter the amount of KSM to contribute, email, and the Sakura address to receive extra rewards. If you are connected with the Clover extension wallet the SKU address will be automatically updated.
