Calamari Network, the Canary Network of Manta built on Kusama, has officially launched its crowdloan on Kusama. As part of its effort to maximize community involvement in the Kusama ecosystem, MEXC will be offering support for Calamari Network’s crowdloan.

This means that MEXC users will be able to use their KSM on MEXC to participate in the Calamari Network crowdloan and earn some amazing rewards in the form of Calamari tokens. MEXC users can do this without moving their KSM from the exchange.

What is Calamari Network?

Calamari will be the only platform on Kusama that can meet user on-chain privacy needs, boost anti-surveillance, and ensure private tokens’ decentralization and interoperability.

Calamari, Manta Network’s canary-net, is the plug-and-play privacy-preservation parachain built to service the Kusama DeFi world. It combines the interoperability of Kusama and zkSNARKs to bring on-chain privacy to transactions and swaps.

As part of its own suite of products, Calamari Network offers private payment, MariPay, and a private AMM-based DEX, MariSwap. MariPay is based on zk-SNARK, and supports the private transfer of Kusama and its Parachain assets. In this way, users can use popular assets like stable coins, and wrapped BTC, etc., while simultaneously benefiting from the confidentiality of privacy coins. MariSwap, an AMM-powered DEX that also leverages zk-SNARK, offers users the capability of fully private swaps between private parachain assets and ensures swap addresses privacy.
