Calamari’s Role in the Kusama Ecosystem
Calamari Network, the Kusama Network canary net of Manta Network, is a privacy-preservation protocol for the entire DeFi stack. With a parachain, Calamari Network will begin to roll out its core products, MariPay and MariSwap. Calamari’s goal is to offer privacy as a utility service to the entire Kusama ecosystem, and will be working closely with all Kusama projects to enable privacy for their tokens.
MariPay in the Kusama Ecosystem
MariPay is the private transacting service from Calamari Network, which will allow Kusama users to privately transact any Kusama parachain asset including $KSM.
MariSwap in the Kusama Ecosystem
MariSwap is the private AMM DEX service from Calamari Network, which will allow Kusama users to privately swap between various Kusama parachain assets including $KSM.
Calamari PLO Step-by-step Instructions
1. Create a polkadot.js account (skip this step if you have Polkadot JS already)
If you don’t have an account in polkadot.js, create one to continue；connect wallet if you already have one and jump to Step 3. Download Polkadot.js for Chrome or Firefox and add it to your browser.
After the download completes, create a new account. Please store your password and mnemonic seed safely. Do not screenshot and share with others. ⚠️
You can also import an account from pre-existing seed. Please select “Kusama Relay Chain” when importing an account.
2. Transfer KSM to your Polkadot JS Wallet
Make sure you have enough KSM in your wallet to make contributions. If not, transfer some KSM to your wallet account. Make sure your account is on Kusama relay chain.
3. Connect to the Calamari Crowdloan Website
Log into the Calamari crowdloan website and connect your wallet.
4. Contribute KSM
Enter your contribution amount or use the MAX button. Please be noted that the Maximum contribution amount is less than your KSM balance because some KSM will be left for gas fee. Account password is needed to sign the contribution transaction.
5. Invite Others to Win More KMA
After making contributions, you can copy your referral link to invite people to participate and win more KMA awards.
6. Check your contribution details and rewards
All of your contribution details, including your referral history, shows up through the Calamari Crowdloan web application. Take a look there!
