Another exciting month elapses, filled with platform improvements for better services. We launched the SALP on Polkadot, the RainDOT campaign, and we’re currently participants in TOKEN2049 in Singapore. We also updated our Dapp to enable vDOT support, our new flexible fee, and Rainbow Boost support for the Polkadot network. Here’s a recap of what September had to offer.
Development Updates
We released two updates: Bifrost v0.9.57 and Bifrost v0.9.58.
Product Updates
In our first update, we introduced support for the new Flexible fees, cross-chain assets, and Rainbow Boost for the Polkadot network. The second update included vDOT support and optimization for the collator function.
Products Performance and Updates
- Within two weeks of its inception, vDOT’s total TVM surpassed 150,000.
- A democratic vote on the Moonriver network approved the vKSM cross-chain format conversion ERC-20 version. The Substrate and EVM scenarios will enable cross-chain mobility thanks to xcvKSM.
- On top of the ETH verification payouts, vETH will shortly include additional advantages. Additionally, Bifrost will deploy the vETH 2.0 contract and use the model of raising the minting price to settle the vETH income. The original vETH can interact with the new contract to complete the conversion of new/old vETH, and in the future, it will execute the cross-chain from Ethereum to Substrate through Snowbridge.
- Phala and Bifrost are working to build vPHA, which will pool PHA liquidity staking.
Media and Partnerships
Bifrost featured in various media events and interviews and formed strategic partnerships to grow our brand and improve our services.
- Bifrost traveled to Singapore to take part in the offline Token 2049 event. We also exhibited at the Parity booth.
- During the live broadcast of the Polkaworld WeChat video account, Lurpis, a member of the Bifrost Technical Committee, spoke in-depth to friends about the recent launch of the Bifrost vDOT, the minting procedure, the most recent xcvKSM development, the introduction of Tether on Polkadot, and the present and future of slot auctions.
- In the Bifrost Rainbow Boost series of events, we introduced the RainDOT theme event, and vDOT also began its inaugural minting. Within a week, users minted more than 150,000 vDOTs. Bifrost Back to
- Asgard was one of the paintings on display when the NFT Gallery Event for Berlin Blockchain Week began. NFT Vikings also made their debut.
- Bifrost Community’s monthly Community call included participation from Council Member Tyrone and OAK Network Dawufi. Community Growth manager Christian discussed the most pressing concerns on August product progress and September plans.
- In a statement, Coinbase Cloud expressed support for a long-term strategic alliance with Bifrost. Coinbase Cloud will back the Bifrost Staking Liquidity protocol through its superior infrastructure.
