It is with great pleasure that we announce our full-stack support for all EVM parachains, including Moonbeam, Moonriver, Astar, Shiden and Acala EVM+. Now, users can use a wholly native Substrate wallet to dive their way into the ever-expanding universe of EVM chains built on the Dotsama ecosystem. 

EVM Compatible Parachains

Short for Ethereum Virtual Machine, EVM is undoubtedly the most popular standard across the world of blockchain. Chains that are EVM compatible retain benefits for both users and developers: it is easier to onboard large pools of users already familiar with Ethereum and attract talented developers already well-versed in the Solidity language. 

It is, therefore, reasonable for top parachains on Polkadot and Kusama to build towards EVM compatibility, namely Moonbeam, Moonriver, Astar, Shiden and Acala EVM+. These chains create the need for a wallet that is fully compatible with both Substrate and EVM, so that users can freely move about in their DApps without having to switch around. Enters SubWallet.

SubWallet Support

SubWallet has supported all key features, including, but not limited to, ERC-20 and xc-20 token management, NFT handling, MetaMask compatibility, XCM transfer, and EVM DApp connection for all of the aforementioned parachains. The latest from this update is EVM DApp connect. With this feature, Layer 2 DApps built on these EVM parachains can integrate SubWallet, so that users can use SubWallet to log in and navigate their DApps. This means that SubWallet has become an all-in-one gateway for users to enter these parachain universes, from Layer 0 all through to Layer 2.
