Whats New with Moonbeam & Moonriver

Moonbeam Adds Cross-Chain Capabilities

Introducing xcDOT, an XC-20 compatible with the ERC-20 standards in active use on Moonbeam. DOT token holders can now deposit their tokens on Moonbeam using live integrations in the Moonbeam DeFi ecosystem.

First Polkadot Cross-Chain Connection Launched Between Moonbeam and Acala Using XCM

This XCM-based connection enables native communications and token transfers between the Moonbeam and Acala without the need for bridges.

Moonriver Crowdloan Rewards Distribution is Complete, and KSM is Unlocked

The Moonbeam Foundation announced the completion of the Moonriver crowdloan rewards distribution and KSM unlock. MOVR and KSM can be used in the Moonriver DeFi ecosystem.

Collator Slot Sharing Functionality Added to Moonriver and Moonbeam

Runtime 1500 has enabled staking changes that impact rewards during the unbonding process, the ability for multiple collators to share one slot, and more.

Moonriver Producing Blocks on Its New Kusama Parachain Slot

Moonriver has been successfully swapped to its new slot, where it is now continuing to produce blocks.

The Moonbeam and Moonriver ecosystem continues to grow with over 200 live integrations in the Moonbeam and Moonriver networks! Let’s take a look at new projects joining the Moonbeam community and ecosystem

Moonbeam

Lido liquid staking is now live on Moonbeam. This means DOT holders can now access their staked assets as xcDOT via MetaMask without an unbonding period for use within Moonbeam’s DeFi ecosystem.

Uniswap Proposal via Nomad was approved by the community. Uniswap will come to Moonbeam, bringing innovative AMM capabilities to the Polkadot ecosystem.

Gelato’s multichain automation suite is now available for Moonbeam builders who want to automate activities on the Moonbeam Network.

ChainSafe Gaming SDK, web3.unity, is available on Moonbeam, bringing exciting innovations for Web3 gaming and game development.

Wanchain is now live on Moonbeam. The integration supports asset transfers beyond the confines of the Polkadot ecosystem.

Mintverse, a comprehensive NFT aggregator and marketplace, is now live on Moonbeam.

Subspace has added support for Moonbeam and is archiving the full history of Moonbeam Network. This will ensure its on-chain data is permanently stored & always accessible.

Covalent launched CQT Staking and pledged to bring data verifiability to more Web3 users.

Li.finance, a cross-chain bridge aggregation protocol that supports any-2-any swaps. Users can swap any token from a variety of supported chains to any token available on Moonbeam.

Moonriver

XCM Integration of Khala and Moonriver is now live. This means users can now deposit kPHA tokens in Moonriver and access its wide portfolio of DeFi integrations.

Moonbeam & Moonriver

Vulture is coming to Moonbeam and Moonriver, bringing single-sided AMM and stableswap capabilities to users on both networks.

API3’s Quantum Randomness Generator, powered by ourANU, is now available as a first-party Web3 API on Moonbeam and Moonriver.

ThorWallet has added support to the $GLMR and $MOVR tokens in the THORWallet DEX app.

DeviantArt is coming to Moonbeam, and Moonriver is coming to help safeguard creators with art and #NFT image protection.

Alexander | Estonian Community

I’m Alexander from the beautiful city of Tallinn, Estonia. I fell in love with the project around a year ago after hearing Derek talk about Moonbeam, its multi-chain vision, and the Polkadot foundation. I see interoperability as necessary in the way of building the Web3 and see Derek as a great leader.

The Moonbeam ambassador program was my first experience as an ambassador in the Web3 space. By being part of the program, I grew from being an apprentice to a Head Ambassador, supporting the global community. I work with a great group of smart ambassadors. We are building a multi-chain future with Moonbeam!
