Manta Network is excited to announce its partnership with Subscan, a browser-based blockchain explorer designed specifically for easy access to view block information of substrate projects. Subscan.io is a high-precision multi-chain explorer built for substrate-based blockchains. Subscan supports data exploration and visualization of more than 30 networks in the Polkadot ecosystem. Subscan provides customized services for the ecological network, such as EVM module, multi-token, etc. In addition, Subscan also provides stable API services, data charts and convenient tool applications.
Manta Network will be integrating with Subscan to provide visibility into its own network. Through this integration into Subscan, users will be able to view various block information about Manta Network including:
- TPS information
- Block height
- Total issuance
- Number of transactions
- Validators
- Other information
While Manta Network’s block production information and content are viewable publicly, its privacy-preserving functionality will keep the transactions within the blocks private. This means that viewers will be able to see the blocks generated on Manta Network, but will be unable to view the specific transactions.
Through a grant provided by Manta Network, Subscan will work on integrating privacy features and functionality into the block explorer, to accommodate the private transactions of other substrate projects leveraging Manta Network’s protocol.
“Manta Network’s implementation on Subscan will provide easy access to both a developer and non-developer community when it comes to viewing transparent information about our protocol,” said core contributor Kenny Li in a statement regarding this announcement. “Having a reliable block explorer with programmatic access is a critical milestone for us in our efforts of becoming a private but transparent protocol for our community.”
With access to a browser-based block explorer on Subscan, developers will be able to programmatically access and browse the history of Manta Network’s on-chain, private transactions. Subscan offers a native, simple API experience for developers to hit the ground running and begin integrating Manta Network’s on-chain data into their own applications.
