May 6th, 2022 — Did you know that it is possible to build the backend of a dapp on Astar in just a few hours using Subsquid’s framework? We are excited to announce that our friends at Subsquid and Orcus Finance are hosting a live coding workshop that will teach you how! The workshop is free and open to all who are interested in learning. In the workshop, you will learn about Subsquids Indexer and how it powers Orcus’ Defi Platform. We encourage anyone building on Astar to attend. Make sure you come prepared with questions, the teams are there to assist and answer questions.
If you’re building on Astar or are interested in building, you do not want to miss this workshop. It is an opportunity to learn and interact with some extremely talented developers building on Astar.

This is also the perfect opportunity for developers to look into AmsterDOT 2022 online Hackathon. Astar has several bounties open that we are challenging you to solve. The hackathon is open to everyone and runs from April 2nd to June 3rd. If you are a developer and want to be more involved with Astar, this is your opportunity to do so.
