Here at Subsquid, we’re building a DAO. We’re doing this not just because it ‘sounds cool,’ but because we really believe in the power of community-led development. Indeed, through the success of our Ambassador Program, we have already seen the true impact of community leadership. There is now no doubt in our minds that the success of Subsquid depends not just on innovative tech, but also on the participation of our network of friends and colleagues located all over the world.
As we move ever closer to launching Subsquid DAO, it will become all the more important to grow this network of community participants. Following the success of March’s Social Growth Competition, and April’s Junior Ambassador recruitment efforts, we have decided to create new incentives to grow the Subsquid community. Today, we would like to announce our second Social Growth Competition, with better, more exciting rewards for all community members.

How to Participate
We will be carrying out the competition using the Gleam platform. Participants will need to sign in using one of their social media accounts. They will also be required to provide a KSM wallet address. In order to receive rewards, participants must also submit an application to the Subsquid Ambassador program.

Each day, the Subsquid core team will post new tasks on the Gleam platform, such as to make social media posts, invite friends to the project, and create educational materials. Different tasks offer participants different numbers of entries (points). The more entries you earn, the more chances you have to win!
Become a Junior Ambassador
Every participant in the Social Growth Competition will have the opportunity to be promoted to a Junior Ambassador. This promotion does not just mean that you will become an elite member of the Squid Squad. You will also get access to exclusive, ambassador-only, events and token giveaways. Becoming a Junior Ambassador is the only path toward getting promoted to a full ambassador at Subsquid, so you might as well join now to have your impact on the DAO!
New Junior Ambassadors will be promoted each week of the competition. As soon as you are promoted, you will be added to the Junior Ambassador chat on Discord and will receive instant access to the NFT giveaway competition described below.
NFT Rewards
Every Wednesday over the course of the Social Growth Competition, we will be raffling off one Squid Squad NFT to Junior Ambassadors. Winners will receive their unique assets right to their KSM wallets.
In case you’ve been out of the loop, Squid Squad NFTs are one of the most exciting projects happening on RMRK 2.0. How they’ll look is still a secret, but you can get a hint in this video.
The Squid Squad NFT collection was created in partnership with the master artists at SFY. In case you didn’t know, these are the guys behind the Donkey Gang, which is probably the most exclusive NFT community in the entire Dotsama space today!
Currently, the Squids are still hanging out in their incubators, but soon they’ll hatch. They each will come wearing tradeable clothes and holding items that can be exchanged on compatible NFT platforms. Only 500 Squid Squad NFTs will ever be minted, so make sure to get your hands on one while you still can!
