Moonwell Apollo Refactor Update

The team has been busy at work with a code refactor for Moonwell Apollo. The refactor addressed some pretty important community feedback, and as a result, the following issues were fixed:

Multiple Transaction Support

A new transaction manager component that supports queuing multiple transactions, local state caching, and transaction resolution if you reload the page while a transaction is processing.

Multiple Transaction Support

A new, refreshed background for the protocol

A cleaner, more refined look, that compliments the protocol.

Infinite approvals across the protocol

Minimizing the amount of approvals and transactions needed to use the protocol in order to provide a smoother, more convenient experience for Moonwell users.

Add to Metamask

Users can directly add the token to Metamask without having to manually import it.

“Add to Metamask” feature

Safety Module Improvements

An UI bug regarding the display of rewards in the Safety Module has been resolved. We’ve also included a direct link to Safety Module documentation to provide better access to information for users who may need it.

Further completed issues include the following minor changes:

  • All interactions that have popups now don’t signal they’re clickable (via the cursor turning into a hand) unless they’re actually clickable
  • Updated banner to remove “Open Beta” and link to the First MOVR Advantage article
  • Assets in supply/borrow now change colors on hover to better indicate you can click them
  • Reworking of dialogs so they won’t ever close each other when multiples are on screen
  • Gas limit padding (1.5x) to every transaction to ensure that reverted or failed transactions are minimized
  • Streamline the repay and withdraw workflows so they function similarly

Is it still “Open Beta”?

With this in mind, we consider the initial “Open Beta” phase to be complete. This means Moonwell Apollo will continue to be the innovative counterpart to Artemis — where new features are introduced first — but the key issues have been addressed in anticipation for a smooth launch of Moonwell Artemis on Moonbeam.
