Due to the increase in the number of users the Nodle Cash App has experienced in the last few weeks and the number of nodes (Nodle Cash app and SDK partners) participating in the Nodle Network, the rewards system in charge of computing and allocating on-chain rewards is experiencing a high load. As it is customary with rapidly growing web3 projects, Nodle is adapting and finding new ways to increase speed and improve scalability.
The Nodle engineering team is working to ensure the rewards are processed for all users, without any breaks or delays. To help with scalability, instead of rewarding users every 2 hours, the rewards will be dispersed every 4 hours. There are no changes to the amount of rewards that participants will receive, one larger payment will be issued instead of two smaller ones.
The change will help the system cope with the number of rewards being processed on the network and reduce the load until new patches are rolled out and infrastructure components are added. These parameters will be fine-tuned over the next few weeks to optimize the system and ensure reliable delivery of rewards for all users.
