Partnership Announcement: Astar Network and Doublejump.tokyo

March 23, 2021 — Today, we are proud to announce our newest collaboration with doublejump.tokyo. In this partnership, doublejump.tokyo will expand its IP-based NFT business on the Astar Network as well as provide technical support for each project launched and help promote the Astar Network.

Doublejump.tokyo has an extensive track record in NFT game development and in providing NFT technology solutions, and has partnered with some of the largest gaming companies and IP holders. On the game development side, it has produced notable play-to-earn NFT games such as My Crypto Heroes. In terms technology solutions, it successfully supported the first official NFT project of Tezuka Productions Co., Ltd., “From the Fragments of Tezuka Osamu”, entitled “Astro Boy.”

Lastly, doublejump.tokyo will also operate a validator for Astar Network, contributing to the geographical dispersion and security of the network. Validators are node operators who each store a copy of the blockchain and must perform certain functions to keep the system secure.
