January proved to be an exciting start to the new year for Ternoa, and more especially, for CAPS holders. This month, we released our very own launchpad allowing our token holders to benefit from early-stage participation in upcoming DApps developed on our blockchain. There were also numerous community events, CAPS rewards opportunities, and giveaways! Let’s break down these events…
A Month Full of Technological Advancements
In January, our team focused on releasing an exciting new addition to Ternoa, our very own Launchpad! This platform is very unique compared to other launchpads, allowing CAPS holders to support the upcoming DApps being developed on the Ternoa Blockchain thanks to a simple hold-to-earn system. This not only gives our community an easy way to benefit from specially selected and screened early-stage projects but also promotes the growth of our blockchain ecosystem.
Along with the release of the launchpad platform, a project from the Ternoa ecosystem, Playaverse, was also launched, accompanied by the first ticket draw event and the start of the first airdrop! Now, just one week after its launch, already more than 2,300 users have held CAPS to participate on the launchpad supporting this first project! With this, more than 127M CAPS are being held for a total valuation of over $9M USD. Ternoa is looking forward to continuing this momentum by bringing new, game-changing projects to the platform each month. Following these releases, our Launchpad gained major international attention, having been mentioned in a few articles by Cryptonews and Cryptopotato, and more. Additionally, our project was mentioned by known English-speaking YouTubers, AJCTheYoutuber and Flozin, and a famous Turkish influencer KriptoEmre, as well as a few others.
Lastly, our team updated the community on the great strides being made in the development and preparation of our mainnet, which will officially unlock Ternoa’s full potential for our community in the months to come. Along with this, new exciting developments, collaborations, and partners are also in the works.
Shout-outs from our Partners
Ternoa was mentioned by a few of our notable partners this month. One is Ciryl Gane, an internationally known MMA fighter, who showed his support for Ternoa by announcing that part of his earnings from the UFC heavyweight championship would be in CAPS. Gane partnered with Ternoa, MMA Factory, and Not Found Token last year to create the first MMA-focused NFT DApp. This upcoming DApp, Metafight, is a multiplayer platform where gamers may compete in leagues with their NFT Fighter cards. On top of this, Ciryl Gane also included a 400k CAPS giveaway for his fans!
Ternoa was also recognized and mentioned in Digital Finance Group’s (DFG) recent article highlighting the topmost interesting metaverse projects on Polkadot! DFG has been a Ternoa partner since the start of last year and is an internationally known cryptocurrency and blockchain investment business based in the United States, launched in 2015, and now manages more than $1 billion in assets. Ternoa is very proud to be amongst those that were featured in their article and noticed for our incorporation of VR in our ventures.
New CAPS Rewards Opportunities
Each month we always find new ways to bring exciting rewards opportunities to our token holders. In January, we branched out to new international options, starting with a new CAPS liquidity mining opportunity with Hummingbot and AscendEX Global. This event has a $10,000 CAPS rewards pool and will be lasting for an 8 week period.
Hummingbot is open source software allowing you market-making and arbitrage bots and host mining events for token holders. We decided to take advantage of their abilities and host this event on AscendEX, the worldwide centralized cryptocurrency exchange platform, because of its global reach and user-friendly platform. Ternoa also partnered with Gate.io this month to bring forward a few exciting CAPS events for our international communities. The first being a CAPS trading competition, where users got the chance to win a total prize pool of $17,000 in rewards for users trading our token. This competition was quite popular and lasted 7 days in total (Jan 22 — Jan 29). Another CAPS rewards opportunity, starting January 27th, is a CAPS Lock-To-Earn event with an APR of 100% and a 0% trading fee! Ternoa’s January Community Events
Ternoa kicked off 2022 with a few major community milestones, hitting 100k followers on Twitter, and 30k followers on our English Instagram account! We are very grateful for our strong, supportive community, each day gaining new members and spreading the word about our project internationally.
We’ve also had two AMAs this month, one with the internationally known Satoshi Telegram group, and the other with the well-known platform Gate.io’s English telegram community. AMAs are great opportunities to spread awareness and answer any questions communities might have about the Ternoa Blockchain, our vision, and upcoming updates about technology.
Finally, in January our CEO, Mickael Canu, went live (watch the replay)with French crypto TikTok star, TIB Talks, explaining details on our launchpad and answering questions from his community. This was a great success, and also included a fun giveaway.
Many more lives and video interviews in both French and English will be brought forward as time goes on, not only on our Launchpad but also for the upcoming mainnet release and other exciting developments to come in our roadmap.
A Great Start to the New Year
