This article recaps Ternoa’s December, full of exciting new events including blockchain and DApp advancements, new partnerships and collaborations, a new CAPS listing, and more!
December was a major month for Ternoa, we not only were able to expand our ventures internationally but even in the metaverse. We released the V2 of our testnet, bringing our blockchain one step closer to mainnet, as well as announcing new use case concepts for our augmented NFTs. We were also able to give our community some insights on what is to come in terms of DApps being built in the Ternoa ecosystem. Our team’s developments this past month have put us in a solid place to kick off the new year of 2022!
New Blockchain Updates
This month our blockchain was able to upgrade to testnet V2, bringing on over 50 blockchain improvements including UI/UX updates to better the user experience, over 15 bug fixes, along with two major key features:
- You can now connect the Ternoa Wallet to metaverse platforms! (AKA 3rd party accounts). This allowed Ternoa to successfully use our augmented NFTs as special keys to private VR spaces. When a user wins one of our special NFT keys and connects their VR account to their Ternoa Wallet, they will have automatic access to the private space!
- You can now convert augmented NFTs in the Ternoa Wallet into capsules! This is more of an achievement for the back-end of the blockchain. So far, this function does not have a purpose for our users but is a necessary step for our technological advancements towards creating time capsules. Along with our mainnet launch, a time capsule DApp will be launched this coming year to complete the process and allow users to benefit from this function.
- We were also able to officially release our Ternoa blockchain Explorer, where our community can search for blocks, transactions, and accounts, as well as track capsules and NFTs. This was a big step for our blockchain, bringing even more transparency to our community and CAPS holders.
Another big blockchain update would be our announcement of the new development: MirrorNFT. Since our blockchain’s goal is to provide NFTs with unique utility and ease for the world, we wanted to find a new way to allow users to benefit from our NFT technology, even if they are on different blockchains. Thanks to the MirrorNFT concept, people will be able to mirror an NFT from one blockchain over to the Ternoa Blockchain, meaning 0 gas fees, and the ability to augment the NFT with our features. More details on this development, along with other blockchain updates will come in the following months of 2022.
$CAPS Hitting New Markets
On December 16th, our token CAPS was listed on Liquid! This was a strategic listing, bringing our token deeper into the Asian market. CAPS holders can expect more events and possibly rewards opportunities to come from our new partnership with Liquid.
This month we also launched 200 full nodes on the platform Just Mining, offering our community the limited opportunity to not only launch their own node, but also benefit from a guaranteed 45% ROI. And we are proud to announce that these 200 full nodes were all taken within less than 40 minutes! It was a great success, for to have participated, users had to hold 150,000 CAPS and follow other certain requirements. Partnerships for Ternoa Augmented NFTs
We are proud to announce the launch of Ternoa’s DApp incubator: Capsule Corp Labs. Our labs will be in charge of all DApps to be created on the Ternoa Blockchain and has already over 15 DApps currently being built to be ready for our blockchain’s mainnet launch in 2022.
One of the first DApps to be announced by our labs is in collaboration with Not Found Token, MMA fighter Ciryl Gane, and MMA Factory. This DApp is an MMA NFT focused game called Metafight, soon to bring on more MMA fighters and provide users with unique NFT collections and gaming opportunities.
Another collaboration Ternoa and our labs announced is a unique NFT series with famous K1 fighter Jerome le Banner. This marks the first NFT we will do from our upcoming DApp Wall of Fame. Our augmented NFT with JLB will not only provide unique footage of him shadow boxing before the 2007 K1 Grand Prix Final in Japan, but the owner of the NFT will get to fly to France and meet Jerome le Banner in person at his dojo! The NFT is currently for auction for a limited time here.
One of our partners, AscendEX, celebrated their 3rd anniversary this month, offering their community specially made Ternoa augmented NFTs for the event! We were happy to collaborate with them on this, and help reward their community. You can find out more about this event through their press release here.
A Growing Community
December was not only a great month for growth in Ternoa’s blockchain and partnerships, but also for our international community. Our Twitter account gained over 20,000 new followers just this month! And our Telegram 500 new members, thanks to our CEO Mickael Canu participating in AMAs, one with the CryptoChallengers Community on telegram, and even one in VR in a world we created on AltspaceVR! But we did not stop there, Ternoa really wanted to show our community all that we can do with incorporating metaverse into our events and testnet testing, hosting over 4 different VR NFT treasure hunts! This not only gave our community a fun time exploring new worlds but also helped us test out our NFT technology, connecting the Ternoa Wallet to VR accounts.
This month was also a big month of giving. With the holidays and new year coming around, Ternoa collaborated with many of our cherished partners to give back to our communities to give thanks. We did giveaways with Crypto Matrix, Romain Lanery, Ronny Roehrig, Op Crypto, TIB Talks, Crypto Futur, DotMarketCap/PolkaWarriors, StrongWriters, Jigmé, and more! In total giving away over 100,000 CAPS!
Continuing from last month, our CMO, Nicolas, and Marketing Executive, Margaux, hosted the second live episode of TernoaTV. This livestream covered not only news on the recent achievements for Ternoa, but also an update on our Grant Program projects! The three selected projects pitched their DApp ideas live in front of the community, allowing our users to ask questions directly to the Grant Program teams and see their roadmap and goals. To finish off the year with another fun celebration, Ternoa created a private Year-End Party where those who won a special “Golden Ticket” NFT from our previous VR NFT treasure hunt events were able to have access and spend the evening in VR celebrating with the Ternoa team! The Golden Ticket winners were also promised a Ternoa gift kit, full of Ternoa merch and, most importantly, special access to upcoming VR events and rewards!

The End to a Great Year
December really set Ternoa up for a great end to 2021, and a wonderful start to 2022! This past year the project has seen an enormous amount of growth, technologically and community-wise. We are extremely grateful for the support we have received so far, and cannot wait to show the world what Ternoa has in store for 2022… the upcoming launchpad, new DApps, partnership announcements, mainnet launch, and much more.
