SubDAO has released a new Chrome Extension update, based on the latest SubDAO Substrate node and ink! contract, which is open source, just like SubDAO Frontend.

Positioned to “Bridge Web 2.0 and Web 3.0”, SubDAO Chrome Extension is dedicated to enabling users using Web 2.0 social platform to be more accessible to DAO features in the Web 3.0 world. Currently, functions including asset management, crypto-asset red pockets(Airdrop) based on the social platform are available on the tool, and more, and fully DAO-related features will be integrated on the tool after DAPP is deployed on Moonriver. More networks assets will be supported further.

The idea of the SubDAO Chrome Extension is derived from and is supported by the Mask Network. Special thanks to the Mask team and its founder, Suji.

Download SubDAO Chrome Extension on Chrome Store, enter your name, and connect to your Twitter.

Here is a tutorial for sending KSM/DOT red pocket by SubDAO Chrome Extension.

Download SubDAO on the Chrome Store, enter your name, and connect your Twitter.

Here is the operation flow of “How to issue encrypted information with KSM airdrop”:

Step1 Switch Kusama networks and connect to your Polkadot wallet

Open the extension dashboard and click the wallet. The default wallet address is created by SubDAO automatically, which belongs to the SubDAO test network.

At this point, complete the following process.

Click “Your Wallet Address”— Select “Change” — Click “Kusama” — Replace mnemonics with your Polkadot Wallet mnemonics — Enter the name — Click “Create”.

You have successfully imported your Polkadot wallet which is on the Kusama network. Refresh the wallet page and wait 10 seconds (asset information reading on the chain) and you will see your KSM.

Step 2 Load KSM into the red pocket

After returning to the Twitter page, click the SubDAO logo next to “Tweet”, and click “Red Packet”, and then set the red packet. Click “Send” to load KSM into the red pocket.

Step3 Send a Tweet with a red packet

After completing the KSM red packet loading, you can send a Tweet with a red pocket. Write your tweet, select “Everyone”, click “Send”, and then click “Tweet”.
