With the Apple M1 Chip, the Nodle Cash App can now run on your Mac

As some of you are aware, the latest versions of Apple’s MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and MacBook Pro contain the high-performance Apple M1 Chip. This was significant because it is the first time in 15 years Apple has not used Intel chips for their processors. This is great news for Nodle Cash users!

“M1” is a term often used by manufacturers to mark the beginning of the first model of new hardware. We actually used the term for Nodle as well in the Spring of 2020 for the launch of the Nodle M1, our social distancing wearable to protect employees in the workplace. In the Fall, Apple used it for their M1 chip, which enables any app that was built for iOS to also run on Macs.

An Easy Set-Up to Earn More Nodle Cash

Earning Nodle Cash (aka NODL) on your Mac is pretty straight forward and runs on the Mac the same way it would run on your iPhone.

First, enable Bluetooth on your Mac and then head on over to the App Store.

When you search for the words “Nodle Cash”(see above screenshot), make sure you click on the tab that says iPhone & iPad Apps and click open.

Your Mac is now an IoT Gateway

Your Mac is thus turned into an IoT gateway that can be used by any IoT device that has a) a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface, and b) is compatible with the BLE standard and the Nodle Network.

The app wallet can enable you to store Nodle Cash, but also to earn it when you enable Bluetooth. (Sending and Receiving NODL will be re-enabled soon).
