Standard Protocol DEX Tutorial #1: Transfer STND token to Shiden Network

Published date: October 26 2021
Share:

Standard Protocol DEX has going to deployed launch on Shiden Network (SDN) mainnet as the first MVP, being the first DEX and native stablecoin protocol on the ecosystem. Moving forward, we are aiming to support more EVM networks to be a truly chain-agnostic stablecoin protocol.

We have prepared this tutorial mainly for current erc-20 $STND hodler who already have erc-20 STND purchased on CEX, and guide you on how to move your $STND token to our DEX on Shiden Network on the smoothest way. ❗️Please do so when DEX mainnet is officially launched, by then we confirm DEX and bridges are all functioning well.

Now, be the first mover to enjoy our features including swap, farm, and dividend pool!

Methods

Here is the step-by-step guide on the following scenarios, you can choose one of them with your preference.

Method 1: Convert $STND to $SDN from CEX and send to Metamask

  • First convert STND to SDN on CEX via trading, then you can withdraw SDN to Shiden Network directly with low cost, and later swap $SDN for $STND on our DEX.

Method 2: Moving $STND to Shiden Network from Ethereum

  • Demonstrate how to bridge $STND from Ethereum to Shiden network via Anyswap Router.

Method 1: Convert $STND to $SDN from CEX and send to Metamask

Notes, this is the easiest way and less costly than bridging ERC20 with high transaction on exchanges and gas fee, by directly move assets from exchanges to DEX on shiden network.

Part 1: Swap $STND for $SDN on CEX (Kucoin, MEXC, Gate.io)

  1. First, you can swap $STND for $SDN on CEX including Kucoin, MEXC, Gate.io

Part 2: Send $SDN from CEX to Metamask

Part 3: Swap $SDN for $STND on Standard Protocol DEX

❗Disclaimer:️ Please do so when DEX mainnet is officially launched, by then we confirm DEX and bridges are all functioning well.

Method 2: Moving $STND to Shiden Network from Ethereum

Part 1: Withdraw $STND from CEX to metamask

  1. First of all, you can withdraw STND from CEX (Kucoin, Gate.io, MEXC) to your Metamask wallet.
  2. Go to “Withdrawal” section, select STND token and input your Metamask address and amount to transfer. Current CEX only supports (Ethereum Network) ERC20, make sure your wallet has selected the Ethereum network.
  3. Confirm the transaction fee and your STND will show up in your Metamask.
(MEXC example:)

Part 2: Import STND on Ethereum Network on Metamask

  1. If your wallet does not have STND imported yet, click “Import token on the buttom of Metamask, go to “Custom token”, and enter STND contract address.
  • Ethereum STND contract address: 0x9040e237C3bF18347bb00957Dc22167D0f2b999d

2. Now, you should see STND showing up in your wallet.

Part 3: Import Shiden Network & STND on Metamask

  1. Before bridging STND from Ethereum to Shiden, import Shiden Network to Metamask first. Click on your wallet network drop down menu, and select “custom PRC”, then fill in Shiden Network details below.

2. Once the Shiden Network is setup, we can import STND token on Shiden Network. Click “Import token on the buttom of Metamask, go to “Custom token”, and enter STND contract address.

  • Shiden STND contract address: 0x722377A047e89CA735f09Eb7CccAb780943c4CB4

Part 4: Bridge $STND to Shiden Network

You can now bridge $STND to Shiden Network, via Anyswap Router.

Using Anyswap Router

Go to Anyswap Router: https://anyswap.exchange/#/router and connect with Metamask. Select STND on Ethereum network in the “From” section, and select Shiden Network on the “To” section.

  1. Enter the amount of STND you would like to bridge. Before approval, please ensure both networks have enough liquidity of STND for the transaction.
  2. Approve the transaction on Metamask and STND will later shown in Metamask wallet when you switch to Shiden Network. Please allow some time ~10–20 mins for the transaction, long waiting time happens occasionally due to heavy traffic.

For any help or questions regarding a bridging transaction via AnySwap, you can reach out to AnySwap or Standard Protocol. Please always be careful of scammers, and never reveal your seed phrase or private key to anyone.

*Note: To move other tokens to the Shiden Network, you will need to use Anyswap Bridge (not Router). Here is the list of tokens supported on Shiden Network via Anyswap https://anyswap.medium.com/anyswap-integrates-with-shiden-network-beb6c3a7bf42

Congrats, now you can enjoy our DEX! Stay tuned for more upcoming DEX campaign.
