And after two months, the second phase of the Bootcamp is about to start with the participation of 12 talented and innovative teams. The list of selected teams was just released by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs 3 days ago.

This year, the opening ceremony of the Web 3.0 Bootcamp will be held at the Hongkou Science and Technology Finance Building in Shanghai at 2 pm on May 14. The event will include the participation of Dr. Gavin Wood - Chairman of Web3 Foundation and founder of Polkadot , Du Yu - Head of Wanxiang Blockchain Lab, Jia Yaoqi - Head of Parity Asia, and Hao Yukun - Senior Director of Wanxiang Blockchain Ecological Cooperation Department.

On this day, apart from the introduction of  12 selected teams, Dr. Gavin Wood will also share the current development of Polkadot and the progress of Kusama's launch. For those who couldn’t join the offline event, the ceremony will be broadcasted globally at the same time, don’t forget to participate in the live broadcast room on time to meet these talented people.

Web 3.0 Bootcamp is organized with the aim to recruit 12 outstanding teams around the world and provide them with six months of training. Following the success of the first phase, the training mechanism of the second phase of the Web 3.0 Bootcamp will be upgraded, which aims to use their resources to discover the potentials of candidates and provide them with Web 3.0 technology. The selected teams will receive comprehensive support including technology, products, capital, ecological cooperation, etc.

Now let’s take a look at the list of 12 outstanding projects and find out more information about them:

1. Moonbeam Network

Moonbeam is a developer-oriented blockchain that strives to provide compatibility with the existing Ethereum developer toolchain and network. It does this by providing a full EVM implementation, a Web3-compatible API, and bridges that connect Moonbeam to existing Ethereum networks. This allows developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and DApp frontends to Moonbeam with minimal changes.

2. Patract

Patract Network will deploy a series of parachains dedicated to WASM smart contract development in different Polkadot networks to create a new generation of cross-chain smart contract platforms. They adopt a more advanced WASM smart contract technology to provide on-chain contract modules and runtime support for the community as well as provide developers a full set of tools and services to write smart contracts with high complexity, high security and high performance.

3. Subscan

Subscan is a high-precision Web3 browser that aggregates the Substrate ecological network. It supports multi-chain browsing, and can already browse more than 20 networks on Substrate. It can also accurately reflect the data on the chain and present it to users in a visual manner, while providing other functions such as data analysis.

4. Litentry

Litentry is committed to solve the problem of privacy preservation with an identity aggregation protocol that serves for multiple networks. Litentry Network enables DID aggregation, verification, and credit calculation/grading. It mitigates the difficulty of resolving agnostic DID mechanisms by integrating all DID standards into a modularized identity model.

5. Clover Finance

Clover is building a foundation layer for DeFi applications to seamlessly operate. Clover aims to reduce the development threshold for upper-layer applications, facilitate a gasless transaction layer to simplify user experience for non-crypto users, and provide a wide range of developer tools from identity-based scripting capabilities to built-in cross-chain interoperability. Clover will put together a large user base and different projects into a one-stop open and integrated financial service platform on Polkadot, using the Substrate framework.
