Welcome to the Moonbeam monthly dispatch! Lots of excitement for the Moonbeam community & ecosystem this month. We are thrilled to announce that the Moonriver network is now producing blocks in Kusama! In this newsletter, we’ll tell you more about the successful Moonriver crowdloan results, our many new partners and projects building on Moonbeam, recent presentations (both technical & non-technical), and a preview of what’s coming next.

What’s New with Moonbeam & Moonriver
Moonriver is Now Producing Blocks on The Kusama Network!
The Moonriver crowdloan has ended and Moonriver successfully won a parachain slot on the Kusama network. Over 200,000 KSM were contributed by the community. Moonriver is now connected to Kusama and producing blocks, with a gradual rollout to follow in the coming weeks. Read the announcement here.
Today is the start of the four-phase Moonriver launch process. Currently, the network is in phase 0 and is expected to take 1–2 weeks to complete each phase. Learn more about Moonriver’s launch process here.
New Partners & Projects Building on Moonbeam
OpenZeppelin
OpenZeppelin is an open-source framework to build secure smart contracts. This integration provides Moonbeam developers of all levels with the ability to seamlessly create, manage, and deploy smart contracts using the full set of OpenZeppelin tools, including their contract wizard. Learn more here.
IBetYou
IBetYou uses the basic principles of betting and kicks it up a notch with crypto wizardry, powered by MATIC and AAVE. This integration will allow Moonbeam and Moonriver token holders to use their Glimmer (GLMR) and Moonriver (MOVR) tokens in a fun and meaningful way. For example, Moonbeam and Moonriver tokens can be used to create personalized bets or to challenge friends. Learn more here.
Unifty
Unifty is a no-code NFT ecosystem with a continuously growing collection of tools, services, and Micro Dapps for the fast-emerging Creator Economy. This integration allows Moonbeam developers and users to easily mint their own NFTs, set up combined DeFi and NFT yield farming incentives, and utilize a plethora of additional uses of NFTs enabled by Unifty. ETHsign
EthSign is a decentralized, versioned electronic agreement signing DApp built with Web3 technologies. This integration allows users to send, sign, and access each version of their agreements on Moonbeam and Moonriver with ease. Make comments, edit, and access each version of your electronic agreement without privacy and communication concerns. Learn more here.
Automata Network
Automata Network is a decentralized service protocol that provides a privacy middleware layer for dApps across multiple blockchains. Powered by Automata Network, the integration with Witness serves to provide Moonbeam dApp developers additional protocol governance options by allowing them to measure and enforce community consensus in a decentralized and private manner. Zoombies is an infinite world of NFT collectible trading cards built on Rarity, Scarcity, and Community. This integration allows the Moonbeam team to further expand in the NFT space. Learn more here.
